I got C in Math Junior year? College Chances?

I'm always been good at school. Straight A's in my AP Classes (4 this year) the occasional B in french (but A average) but Pre-Calc has always just pulled me down and it makes me so upset. I have a tudor every week, I study so hard and yet I just make a C. I got a C in math every 9 weeks besides last one which I managed to get a B. I'm so terrified that I wont make it into a good college like FSU (which is my dream school) and my parents are making me feel guilty and stupid :( I am the President of Drama Club, Vice President of a mentoring club, volunteer at metropolitan ministries, volunteer at a mentoring group for young girls, writes in a Literary Magazine, member of several honor clubs and have stagemanaged, directed, written plays and participated in drama competitions for all 3 years. My GPA is 3.74, weighted is 4.9 and my SAT superscored is 1810. I just feel like math will bring me down :( I'm looking at UCF, FSU, Full Sail University, High Point University, University of Georgia right now.

One C will not kill your app. I had a C+ in physics and 2 B- (BC and Multi) and I got in to both my top choices, with full tuition (music scholarships). Your biggest problem right now is your SAT score. See if you can get it up to 2000. If not, its not the end of the world, but it doesn’t match your gpa.

Yeah, one C in math won’t bring down your application unless you’re considering something highly math-oriented (engineering or the hard sciences).
By the way, I’d think twice about Full Sail University.

Thank you guys  and Fredjan, what’s up with Full Sail University? Are my admission chances really low?

No, it’s that Full Sail has something of a reputation as a diploma mill.
You could get a better bang for your buck by attending a community college and then transferring to a 4-year university.

Check out this thread here on CC from a few months ago; it’s about a student who was considering Full Sail to study web design.

That was really informing, thank you so much!
