I Got In ED...When Do I Withdraw Other Apps?

well if you got your deposit form, doesn't that mean you got your acceptance letter?

how do you withdraw apps? the common app doesn't have a tool for it. do we have to go to each school's account to withdraw or email them all at once?

Emailing them individually works well and isn't very time consuming. Just set a generic email, and add "Dear _______ Admissions Committee," to the top of it. Include your full name and (I also included, for verification purposes) social security number. You can personalize with an extra sentence or two if you really liked the school. Them email them one by one, making sure the school's email and the adressee match up.

for the apps u didn't send out on common app, just leave them there. when teh due date pasts, nothing should happen.

i live overseas so mail takes quite a while to arrive here.. so it would be safe for me to wait for my official decision before withdrawing my other apps right? i wouldnt ask this if it only took a week or two for regular mail but here, it can take as long as a month....

Yeah don't worry about it. You are obviously your primary concern in admissions. Wait until the official acceptance, or call to confirm the acceptance as official.
