Nice stats/

Where on the UNC page does it say if you've been accepted or not? I signed in and checked my status but it says nothing regarding admissions.

It should say: Your admissions decision is ready and then you should see a clickable link.

click on "admissions home" or w/e

basically log in and there is a link at the top, don't go to the status page.

In!!!! im totally suprised. im OOS and i did my application on the last day possible. love unc but im still waiting on my top choice. congrats everyone. and btw i cant believe fendertime got waitlisted.

does anyone know how to set up the email account for UNC?

^ fobby i replied in the UNC 2011 subforum =)

I got in even with low SAT scores. I just wish people would stop assuming that they're the biggest factor in the college admissions process. I think colleges are more interested in seeing how you portray yourself in the application. I was fairly facetious in my application to UNC - I had a ball with the short answers. For the one that asked my favorite random fact, I put, "The longest word is (see bottom of page)." Since the word was too long to type in the blank I typed it at the bottom of the page - "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis." Just be quirky, march to the beat of your own drum (something I've done since I was small), and just hope for the best.

How low Jenz, if I may ask? That sounds really fun to give silly answers to the short answers!

wait why's that a silly answer? you're supposed to have fun with those qusetions. for my fun fact i had something about the austrailian currency which i read like 5 mins b4 filling it out

Must be very tough to get into this school oos. The valedictorian of my kids' hs (class of over 300 in NJ) was just waitlisted...don't know her SATs but they weren't super high. Still, she's a great kid---number one since jr high and very well rounded, played sports etc. UNC was her top choice.

She's still waiting on a few more schools.

I'm gonna be so sad turning down UNC =(

Accepted OOS with likely letter.
