I was curious...I noticed a lot of the people on this forum happened to apply AFTER the scholarship deadline...Personally I think it's unfair that someone who applied that late can be considered for a scholarship...a deadline is a deadline...am i right?

Yes Here Here,

I agree

is it possible that all rejected trustee and presidential scholarship finalists get the deans scholarship(1/4 tuition)?

Well, filmxoxo, I may be wrong but I think that rule only applies to the Ivies -- it's part of their "joint statement" or whatever they call it.

I, too, applied before Dec 10 and haven't heard anything either (but then I stupidly wrote "regular decision" on the envelopes I gave to my counselor and teachers to send their recommendations in, as I didn't realize then that they had no "early decision" and the Dec 10 deadline for scholarship consideration was in effect their "early" deadline! I hope that doesn't cause my application to be not considered for scholarships).

wmgan...I wouldn't fret over it...I doubt that had ANY effect whatsoever on the review of your application. Relax...enjoy the ending of your senior year everyone, and realize that this is NOT a life and death situation.

I have a little anecdotical evidence for all the filmmakers on here. Film Production acceptee's hear about getting into the school on early march, and than hear from the cinema school in april (from friend you got in last year).

Does the same hold true for architect applicant
