Colgate, Hamilton College, Bucknell University, George Washington University, RPI, Northeastern, Georgetown

I got accepted to these schools. First rank them in general, than rank them by greatness of economics department if you're able to. Here is how I ranked them, but this is a total guess, and I know basically nothing. I am really desperate, and really, really, really need A LOT of help in narrowing down the list, and eventually choosing one school.

General
1. Georgetown
2. Hamilton College
3. Colgate
4. George Washington
5. Bucknell
6. RPI
7. Northeastern

Greatness of Economics Department
1. Bucknell
2. George Washington
3. Georgetown
4. Hamilton
5. RPI
6. Colgate
7. Northeastern

I would say
Georgetown
Colgate
GW
Hamilton
Bucknell
RPI
Northeastern

Economics: GW, Georgetown, Bucknell, Hamilton, RPI, Colgate, Northeastern.

You are lucky, you have some terrific options! Good luck!

A lot of people have told me Georgetown beats GW in economics, no question. So what distinguishes GW from Georgetown in economics?

Georgetown>GW. Georgetown Business>>>GW. Hence, Georgetown Economics>GW Economics. That's my guess

Between all these schools, I'd choose either Georgetown or GW. Imo, D.C.= Great. Plus, if you care about rankings they are the most well-known and respected. Colgate/Hamilton are also great, if you are into the smaller liberal arts college type thing. Bucknell, RPI, and Northeastern...not as much.

and altho i know this isn't your question, the schools you've listed are in very different settings in some cases. make sure that, too, will be a fit, as you'll be there 4 years.
