International is supposed to go out by email tomorrow.

yeah, monday will be brutal.

Found out I get six decisions all on Monday, including williams. Fun stuff :D I'm having so many anxiety attacks I can barely concentrate on anything.
Good luck to everyone though!

Yeah... it looks like I am going to find out 7 schools on monday, plus 2 special programs, plus 1 scholarship. Boy oh boy is my night gonna be busy!

People in CT have heard back already?
So... why am I looking at an empty mailbox? =/
Does differences in mail receiving date say anything about acceptance/waitlist/reject? am i over-analyzing this?

mirihadalillamb-- I think people all over the east coast have gotten rejections and acceptances so not receiving anything yet should not determine your decision. I haven't gotten anything here on LI. I think the rest of us should hear tomorrow.

Curse you, no-Sunday-mail!

i'm acadec and i approve ^that message.

Is it true that Williams isn't releasing decisions online at all?
I can't even remember if I have an account or anything there....

So i live in New York. And I want my letter.

I don't know of any online system for acceptance, notification, or anything at all. The ID# even came on a postcard. As far as I know, besides the online CommonApp submission, all aspects of the Williams app and notification were tied to snailmail.

I think that Williams's unwillingness to use e-mail and other easily available technologies is very unbecoming. A school with their endowment has no reason to not be able to implement the best technologies. It makes me worry if they are really preparing their students for the "real world", who need to be proficient with these types of technology in order to be successful in any type of modern occupation.

Alot of LAC's do this. Pomona sends their decisions my mail too. They want to make it more personal I think.

yeah i think the letters thing is kind of fun...checking online is so anticlimactic. i wouldn't want all my schools to do it via mail...but this is sorta cool. nerve-racking, yes...but a little fun. :/

That way they can sign the letters and write little notes...besides how else would they send the car stickers and the bookmarked course catalogs?

They send the official letter and whatnot out the same time they post online like every other school.

I never heard of them posting online at all, though.

I kinda doubt they post it online since they don't even send e-mails.

don't they send emails to internationals?

Haha, man, chill. Just because they don't use e-mail notification doesn't mean that they don't "implement the bes technologies." In fact, if you've ever visited Williams, I'm sure that you'd beg to differ. I hardly think it's fair to gauge the level of technological competency with which Williams students graduate based solely on their decision notification preferences. =p

Psychgirl: Yes, they do send emails to internationals, but they are being really evasive about when. I just called that ad office - the answer was "some time this week"...

Dunno about you, but my enthusiasm is waning...
