I got my ACT score

And I got a 29 composite and a 27 in math which is really bothering me. I want to go to TAMU and major in math, and math is easily my strongest subject. I mean my lowest section was pre algebra, I dont know what happened. Anyways do you think it is fine where it is or do you think I should retake it even though I do not think I can repeat my reading score?

Are you in the top 10% of your school?
Is A&M your first choice?

Sure why not take it again in April or June?

Yes A&M is most likely going to be my first choice, and I am in the top 5% at the moment.

If you plan on majoring in Math, I’d expect that you’re math score is on the higher end of your scores… preferably 32+. Admission committees will probably expect the same.

I would take a practice test at least and take another one, maybe in june. Maybe just review some of your old pre-algebra/algebra material.
