Idk how I got an honors invite lol, 1300/1850 SAT, 27 ACT, 3.6 uw GPA.

^ You got an honors invite??? lol
I mean, I'm not saying that you don't have good stats, but my stats are somewhat similar, and I didn't think that I even had a chance lol. I've got an 1820/4.4W.... maybe I have a remote chance? I don't care, I'm just glad to get in.

So if there is no invite yet, wait a couple weeks?

the honor's invitation comes in a separate package? or is it suppose to come in your admission package?

Man... I still haven't received my letter yet, and I live in Pensacola. I hope that doesn't mean anything...

Hopefully I'll get it today.

I got mine yesterday, but no honors invite... I was probably very borderline

1300/1840 - 3.94 Bright Futures GPA - No ACT

Nevermind, I got mine today lol.

I'm not really sure if I'd want to do the Honors program, but should we expect an Honors invite if we are to enter FSU in the Summer term (and then enroll in the fall as a continuing student)?

I would think yes - if you meet the standards.

I haven't gotten a letter yet. hmm

My physical acceptance letter finally came in yesterday for the Summer and Fall term 2009

Has anybody received their packet?

my D GOT IN IN HONORS WITH SAT 2000 ACT 31 GPA 3.86 WGPA 5.6 TOP 5% OF HER CLASS.

I have a 33 ACT and 4.2 GPA and did not get an honors invite. oh wellz

^ You should request it... I forgot what it's called but you can petition for a position and they may accept you. I would think that you have a good shot with those stats.

I would call Admissions and Honors, Jman. You'd also be in competition for scholarships.

Should I call after I hear back from UF or is this something I should do as soon as possible?

Heads up that FSU Orientation registration is now open for summer and fall 2009 new students. Space at orientation sessions are first come - more information can be found at fsu.edu | new student & family programs. You have to pay your admissions deposit (if a freshmen) before registering for orientation.

More information (a check-list) of things to do after accepted (housing, immunizations, orientation, etc.) can be found at fsu.edu | newnole under the PRE-ORIENTATION link.

I still have not recieved my letter, should I be concerned? I am a Florida resident.

Frankly, this is a race for the dollars. If you snooze, you'll likely lose regardless of high scores. Wait at your own risk.

When do they tell us about scholarships?
Is it supposed to come in the acceptance packet or something?
