<p>I live in Lahore, Pakistan; On 03/22/08 I received my official acceptance packet to NYU Stern School of Business!!!</p>
<p>The packet was dated as sent on 03/12; however, the official acceptance letter was dated 04/1.</p>
<p>Haha I just find it weird that I received my packet before domestic students. Adding fuel to the fire, all the other applicants from my school didn't get any notification from NYU either.</p>
<p>Why did I receive my packet so early?</p>
<p>I think all international applicants receive their official decision earlier than we do.</p>

<p>It's a gourgeoussssssssssss purple thick packet....inside is an official acceptance letter, discover NYU brochure, general instructions brochure, a few papers about NYU homelogin, a pink reply slip.</p>

<p>I guess they changed the color of the packets for RD. The ED packets were green. Weird.</p>
<p>You are in international student. That is why you got yours so early. Someone from Canada got theirs recently too, from what I remember reading on this forum.</p>

<p>And I am doing ISC board as well as A levels. So I don't think that counts... maybe they're still deciding, who knows. :P</p>

<p>I'm from an American Embassy School...so I did high school.</p>
<p>The majority of the Pakistani applicants are the children of rich businessmen; however, there are a lot of Pakistani applicants that also do apply for financial aid.</p>
<p>My school is full of rich kids...and we apply everywhereeeeeeeeeee (US,UK,Canada,Pakistan)</p>
