My scores are really low for stern I know, the posiblity is.......T_T
however, there is still a posibility if you apply, right?
So, don't worry too much.
Besides, as for me, u did really good

Yes, you do suck. Asking people for an assurance from this blog for several times is a sign of lack of confidence. They are not the admission officers, you know that right? I dare you to post your personal statement and short answers if you really want to embarrass yourself.

Yeah, I don't see what's wrong with having a lack of confidence. We're nervous over here! Not everyone can be as confident as you apparently are.

"350-400 hours of community service"
very very impressive.
i don't see why they wouldn't like you, and shut up NYUminute
best of luck with admissions

wow if that type of attitude shows on on ur application i dont think ur getting in anywhere. sorry to be so harsh but theres no reason you should say that about yourself. just because you are denied from a school doesnt mean that you failed. the sad truth is most students are rejected from their top choice school (given that they are "highly competitive") but that doesnt mean that you should lose faith either. you are smart and tallented in your own way and if you play your cards right you will get accepted into plenty schools who value you for what you do well. just because a school is popular doesnt mean that the school is "good" dont lose faith in yourself and put yourself down because you think college is the deciding factor of your life. also i am korean as well and you should be proud of your heritage. even though it may hurt your admissions decision thats no reason to turn ur back on your korean heritage.

heres a little story for you to make sense of everything i just said. I know a korean student who graduated from princeton university. according to US news princeton is ranked #1 and #2 overall almost every year. great school right? must be since everyone sees rankings as the supreme judging factor of how "good" a school is. well this student graduates and comes home and sits down and doesnt know what to do next. he graduated but still doesnt see what he loves to do, 4 years and $200,000 later. going to college is just the beginning. all that is going to matter is what you learned and how you used it to find what makes yourself a better person. hope this helps and good luck to all of you
