That's not a horrible sign. I think dreams are the opposite of reality most of the time. But usually they're just manifestations of what you think about a lot. So if you worry about having to go to Penn State, it'll probably come up in your dreams. shrug I'm no dream analyst, I just like to babble.

Anyway, I think good signs are jinxes, so by my book, you're fine!

well since youre the only one to reply so far, it must be that everybody else agrees with you :) yay!
you can babble all you want, i dont mind, :)

and well just have to wait 31 more days to find out if youre right anyway, or if anybody here is right... sigh... so long

lol it'll be here before you know it!

i agree with zant! i think dreams just represent whatever ur mind dwells on or kinda shows if ur pessimist/optimist....but personally i have no dreams =P i just dream of blackness woot woot!

Yea I hardly ever remember my dreams.
head hits pillow and i black out

for me it depends, if I havent been doing anything with my brain then I'll have dreams, if I have been doing academic or otherwise challenging stuff then I wont have dreams

I once read a psych theory that says that dreams are alternately our worst nightmares or our best aspirations, hmm, what does that say about me considering that I recently dreamt that I was a campaign aide to Al Sharpton and I had to fight off protestors by throwing fried chicken at them. Weird huh, but then again, most of my dreams are!!!

i agree with zant that dreams are manifestaitions of what matters to us. i noticed that if my head was thinking about something alot that day, it'll pop into the dram world at nithe

Yeah, same here, alyssa. Or alternately, I'll dream about events that are to come the next day. Sad thing is, they're usually nauseatingly mundane events like brushing my teeth, packing my backpack, eating breakfast, and starting up and waiting in the car. I hate dreams like that because when I wake up, I think I've already done all those things and become really, really confused.

Then again, it's not all that difficult to confuse me. Potatoes? Where?! :D

out of curiousity, anyone here had any OOBE before? i had one before, but i'll wait for some replies before elaborating.

Haha yeah, philntex. I think it's worse when those mundane events seem extrememly realistic. Then you wake up feeling tired, like you've already gone through the whole day of homework and chores. Feel so cheated of my beauty sleep. :-

Exactly! Because it's like, "Crap. Do I have to go through this all over again?!" And then you collapse back onto your bed, skip school, and try to steal back some of the precious sleep that was snatched from you by a bogus dream. Harumph.

wish fulfillment, baby.

what is oobe

Is that when you predict stuff?

Someone I know has dreamt that someone died the night before they died. It's happened twice. Isn't that freaky? I hope he never dreams about me.

I haven't had any dreams lately, but of the ones that I've had in the past; I'm usually doing everyday things like going to school, doing homework, etc. It's okay except for when I wake up and see that my h/w isn't done. And a few times I also dreamed in french, which was very strange.

i usually have my weirdest dreams later on in the morning, right before i wake up, and with another snow day today, that wasnt until 1000. so i woke up during a dream about snow. i was at college, and there were kids from all the schools i applied to there, and it was this big giant snow ball war, and kids from all the different schools were attacking eachother and then someone shouted "hey she doesnt go to ANY of our schools" and they all started to pelt me with snow.
talk about anxiety taking over in dreams.

aww
but you got a snow day!
I'm so jealous. I really need one because I had a horrid calc test. But that's over and I guess I survived. Snow is so useless if there's no snow day though.

omg....i HATE calculus....we're doing sequences and series and i think im the only one that just has no clue what they are doing.

Oh I feel for you. We haven't done sequences yet but I know it's coming up in like a week. Eeek
