<p>before i received my deferred letter, i had a dream that princeton sent this packet and for some reason, i couldn't tell whether i got in or not. one side listed all my strengths and the other listed all my weaknesses. it basically said that i wasn't accepted or rejected...and guess what, i was deferred. so hopefully, this time around, i have a dream that i got accepted</p>
<p>I had a dream that Princeton took...like...a third of its applicants and brought us all to a sunny park someplace (it had swingsets and sandboxes...and weird gothic architecture-y buildings to the side), where some admissions official looked us over, shrugged his shoulders, and said "you're all so good--I just can't pick." So then we all just started running around, swinging on the swingsets and wandering through the kitchens of little french cafes that were, for some reason, right by the park...and then a couple of hours later, they told us they'd been watching us all the time and picked those of us who they thought had been the most fun or the nicest to the kitchen staff or something.</p>
<p>...so I was really sad when I woke up, 'cause I hadn't gotten into Princeton after all.</p>
<p>wow. i don't ever dream about college. that's sad, i'd like to :-/</p>
<p>and enco, with your knack for predicting admission outcomes... i'd quite believe it if you got in everywhere :p good luck</p>
<p>...anyone ever dream about other ppl getting in? I'll pay the going rate for anyone who will read my palm, consult their tarot cards, or predict my college prospects in their dreams....</p>

<p>I had several strange dreams over several days, and they were all different colleges.</p>
<p>The first time was Yale. I dreamt that when I opened my mailbox, there was a weird looking orange (don't ask me why) envelope, and a big stamp on it that says: "Yale in PJ" (where I live). I opened up to find a CD, and inside the CD was a video of the admissions committee going through MY app. Their comments were, for some reason, inaudible, and then I woke up.</p>
<p>The second time was from MIT and Princeton. Both came in one big orange envelope, a fat one. "Princeton wants YOU!" says the brochure, complete with my name, application number, and everything that looks like they pulled it out from FBI records. MIT send a letter that just said something like "You are accepted! Signed, Dean Yolanda" (???)</p>
<p>The third time was from Harvard. I got a phone call, and the guy told me Harvard College is waiting for me to visit them because I got accepted. He then arranged a flight for me to the US (all done in that one phone call) and faxed me the visas and documents I will need. Woke up after I hung up the phone. :(</p>
<p>i dont really dream...i have like black outs for 6 hours and then i wake up =P</p>

<p>I had a dream just before ED decisions that I got into Princeton....it was weird, I lived in this...er, "house" in the Bayoux and it was covered in colored lights (picture "Joe's Crab Shack" decor). The mailbox was in the middle of the parlor/living room (?), which was different from the rest of the house because it looked like the library of a large manor house (with elaborately carved shelves and rows of leatherbound books lining the walls). </p>
<p>Hopefully I'll dream that I get rejected--reverse psychology, you know. ;)</p>
<p>I day dream more than dreaming at night...I gaze at my sandwich at lunch seeing "Princeton LOVES u" inscribed on it...as i pick up the mail everyday, I see a big fat envelope instead of the phone bills...I replace "Purdue" with "Princeton" in my acceptance emails and say "aaahh...my acceptance at last at Ppppprr...due" I guess im in for a pretty big knock when i get my rejection...</p>
<p>I dreamt that I got in before I was deferred. It jinxed me >.< lol in my dream the acceptance was in an email, so it obviously wasn't real, knowing princeton. </p>
<p>Before finding out though, I kept seeing the a truck for "Princeton Laundry" pass by everyday...</p>

<p>Does everyone here dream in black/white or color? The one disturbing dream I had was in shades of black and orange, no kidding. The dream per se had nothing to do with Princeton tho. :(</p>
<p>i cant rmbr...because most of my dreams were more like memories. there are several where i really thought i was there...those were colored, albeit 65536 colors.</p>
<p>I definitely dreamed about college admissions all the time before Dec. In fact, my first one was during my I LOVE YALE stage, but it was about Princeton. Foreshadowing? I think so...</p>
