I hate community college... do I really belong here??

I’m back now. I see quite a few of you have given me some interesting answers. To address them:

@Nascent:
You and I are on the same page here. It seems like a lot of the people who replied to my thread don’t understand what I’m talking about, simply because they have never been to a community college. I know College Confidential is full of high achievers and I’m sure 99% of you guys (unless you got rescinded like me) will never even think twice about going anywhere near a community college for your future endeavors.

I apologize if I sounded a bit patronizing towards the lower class, but the problem is that what Nascent mentioned is true. Most of the people at my community college are terrible, both academically and mentally. Druggies, criminals just like he mentioned, there is no shortage of them where I’m taking classes right now. This is why I hate most people who belong to the lower class - not because they are poor, but because they are poor and refuse to work hard to get out of their current situation.

I go to a community college and I’m not poor, therefore I stand out. I have also made a decision regarding a question I previously asked several hours ago at the beginning of this thread. I refuse to stoop to the level these poor druggies are at. I will stand tall and mighty, and serve as a role model. Yes, I may have gotten rescinded from a top engineering school, but this will not stop me from working hard in community college.

With that being said, I will continue to work hard and disregard the rest of these pieces of **** I see, wasting their lives in a lowly academic institution. I’m all set with the answers. Thanks to everyone who replied, even though some answers were more like flames.

EPIC POSTER. Thanks for sticking to your line bro, very entertaining. 10/10. Would read in book form.

Haha I forgot to mention. For an entire semester for my life skills class(I dual enrolled at a community college to get rid of credits and take some advanced math courses) I had to go on a treasure hunt around the campus at night with someone who just got out of jail and had to attend this class as part of his probation. He ended up going back to jail mid semester. He was funny, but terrifying D;

@Nascent:
What happened to him in the end?

Hey…maybe you could find some dual-enrollment students to make you feel better if the program is offered in your district? :S

lol you deserve to go to the WWE

wow? i can’t even tell if this is a ■■■■■ anymore. I wonder if this was how you were raised or a product of pure selfishness. Not everyone has opportunities like you.

■■■■■. 10 char sparknotes

this thread brings me great lulz.

This kid is an idiot with too much free time. Many people of different economic classes go to a community college, not just poor people.

Why were you kicked out from your university again?

I wasn’t… I was kicked/rescinded from my first college. Have you ever heard of anyone getting kicked from a ****ty community college?

You got kicked cause you was a slack jawed phaggot, and probably deserved it.

Deal with community college and transfer. You could use the time from posting here to actually plan on transferring to top schools.

…You’re hilarious…LOL…

sigh I recently am going through something similar too.

Where do all these zombie threads keep coming from?

I’m doing some research about community college, and I don’t like what i’m reading >____< But, it was truly entertaining to read!

I was suppose to go to Berkeley this fall, but my mom and dad can’t afford a UC for me even with the scholarships I have, they don’t want to pay a gigantic debt at the end of four years. T___T

They told me to go to community college first, then transfer to either UC Davis or UC San Diego. After reading this thread, I have to bear with the people in CC. But, i’m a pretty open and non-judgmental person, i’ll manage. At least i’ll be saving money, having time to explore jobs, and other endeavors. And plus, if I earn enough, and end up transferring to a UC, maybe i’ll pay my debt early. Then hopefully go to an Ivy for graduate school. ^___^

yup. The meaningless cries and drivel of a loser. lol

I get what you’re trying to say but you sound really snobby
