I hate cr!!!!! :(

I'm currently taking Practice Test #1 in the Blue Book, and so far I finished sections 1-3. I thought I did pretty well on the Essay, and I only missed 3 in section 3 (Math), but I was totally crestfallen when I graded Section 2 (CR). I missed a grand total of 8 QUESTIONS!!! That's 16/24 = 66%! :(
And I thought I was better at CR than Math...anyway, can you please explain the correct answers to the questions I missed?

SKIPPING THE FIRST 3 SINCE IT'S A VOCAB ISSUE

7: Author compares comet hale-bopp to a feathery fishing lure also he tallks about the the river of clouds(that’s not really possible lol).

10: Talks about how African Americans are still effected by their original origins and their mother identity…it does not compare america and africa culturally at all just African Americans compared to Africans

15: Notice how the author doesn’t state specific examples of the ties between Africans and African Americans or any specific people he just uses vague ideas

23: he directly says after “innate” mysterious yet palapable which kinda shows how uncertain he is about the concept

24:First one mentions the use of oil mediums, dark undertones, light dark colors etc and second one talks about why the mona lisa is so famous using the view of people like Clarke and Barolsky
