I hate High School

Today my school had this assembly for the Junior class, and all we herd basically was that we were the "Worse Junior class ever in the school", the reason behind this is our class is full of drama, snobby, cliquey, and mean. Apperently someone created a Twitter page to talk about the people in the school, spread gossip and cruel rumors. My class seems to talk badly about people. There's also a Facebook version also. The girls are almost all against each other. The girls will make fun of other girls if their ugly, fat, or anything not like them, they make fun of people who can't afford to were high end designer labels. It was so bad and rampant we had fights in the school, and our Senior Trip taken away and other activities. And the sad part is I go to a Catholic school with about 900 students. Not to put it this way but my class is the type of crap you see only in those teen flicks expect only that its real and were in uniform. The only good part is, there's a small minority who aren't like this. I stopped hanging around those popular people in Sophomore year they say hello to me I just ignore them. I'm now with a great group of friends. I can't wait till high school is over, I can't stand these people there making it horrible for everyone.

Does anyone else have a school like this or is it only mines?

I think I found the problem…

High school is so fake.

Gypsyeyes:

What? The Catholic thing or the tiny school size thing? ■■■■■

op: hs students in general are like that… sometimes a small class size makes it worse bc everyone knows each other and there isn’t a wide variety of people to choose from, or a lot of space to find your niche. That anon. twitter person sounds like a massive jerk, and unfortunately, those people are everywhere… jerkism is like a freaking disease haha

Is this also an all girls’ school?

this may all get better by senior year. people mature…

@Burrrns

It’s a Co-ed school, and I have herd that by Senior year everyone somehow gets along with everyone and cliques end.

Well, to tell you the truth, mine didn’t. I’m still having problems with people.

I guess it all depends on who the people are.

Both-
Catholic schools tend to have more superficial people who care about who has the newest, shiniest things- it comes with the wealth that tends to be there.

Small schools tend to have more cliquey people like that.

Bump…

Stories like this make me glad that I go to a school with about 4,000 students. We really don’t have to deal with stuff like this. Although, there was this one huge rumor going around last week that EVERYONE knew about.

yea, I was gonna transfer last year. But decided to stay, I didn’t feel like starting over.

@roman: gee i never knew that (no sarcasm)

i stopped caring what other people thought of me in like 8th grade… it’s so petty and dumb. i mean it’s been going great since then. currently, i’m a junior that hasn’t had any big social conflicts really for the most part. i mean all i care about is my grades and friends i chill with.

High school is HELL. I feel horrible for saying this because all the adults I know are always telling me how they wish to go back, yet I simply cannot fathom why. ANYTHING must be better than this.

^^ I hear that too… but I don’t believe it.

If this was the best time of their life, then that’s pretty sad because high school is horrible.

I hope each stage of life is the new “best”. College beats out high school, which the 20’s will beat out college, and parenthood (or your career) beats the 20’s…

Lol, college experience is what you make out of it. Just remember to not make it look like High School where you felt like s*** when you didn’t do crap.
