I am South Asian

Major = politics

Looking for feedback about where I can improve or focus. Thanks

you have a solid shot, i'd say.. and your brother going there is a good thing too (legacy thing).. are you doing SCEA?

Yes. Definitely. I love Yale too much to not apply SCEA.

well said
i'm doing SCEA too.. i'll be anxiously awaiting a letter of some sort (hopefully acceptance... maybe deferring letter... hopefully NOT a rejected letter) in december, i'll tell you that

Hey! Same SAT scores and we both have Scholastic Awards. And I'm applying EA too :)

You have as good a shot at Yale as anybody!

i can't believe it's almost time to send in the application fro SCEA.. it's just about 2 and a half weeks away.. scary

actually, those are not my real sat scores, I did slightly worse on my first one, but I feel I did much better on my my most recent one. But That is my prediction. I wouldn't be surprised if I got that, though I do pray it is higher.

Yeah. It is scary. It is too soon. But second semester of senior year will be fun, so I am looking forward to it.

haha, yeah, fun b/c we're all going to be like "ehh, whatever"

j/k

Wow, you are... Scarily like me! (I do photography, won a scholastic art award, have a brother who went to Yale, and am applying SCEA!)

anyone else?

Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.Yale.

I think you have a decent shot. Nothing certain, but definitely worth applying.

Finally, a real Chance me thread; not like those braggers with 2400's.

I think your interest in photography can be what is special about you. I think your GPA is nice and the fact that you went to college to take courses/AP self studying shows you have the capacity for self learning.

Your extracurricular are alright, but I think photography is a plus. Hope you focused your essay on it. I really do hope we get in... :)

Um... average chance for Yale?
