Hard to tell. Your SATs could be a little higher, but it's clear that you've shwon initiative at such a small school. I'd have to say that you're an average applicant and will have a hard time getting in, but after looking at some of the threads for SCEA decisions last year, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason why someone was accepted and someone wasn't. All you can do is hope for the best.

Your scores and grades are definitely not too low. I also like that you have an obvious passion for photography, rather than the impersonal list of every club at your school. You have a shot!

No way are you an "average applicant." Perhaps not an intel finalist, but most people who get into Yale are not. I'd say you have a great chance.

Sorry, I was wrong. I placed too much emphasis on test scores. I know that Yale is one of the few ivy league schools to list test scores as a "very important factor," but I thought that most accepted students have scores in the 2300s. A 2260 is around the 50th percentile for accepted students, so that's probably fine. Also, you did show allot of initiative with photography, which is great. Given that, I think you have a good shot. It's just sometimes hard to understand what distinguishes an accepted student to a rejected one.

The SAT score thing might be a little iffy, but I wouldn't worry about it. No huge awards or distinctions but good profile overall. I say you have a much better shot than the average Joe, but about the same as anyone else applying to Yale who has given the decision serious thought.

More than a great shot....stop worrying

i thought you were familiar.... i am sorry for boosting your confidence... everything seemed aligned..

i cant believe that you at least did not get deferred...tht sux

good luck in college..u should still have a successful educational career
