IS it just me or do people on the UC Berkeley, SD, LA campus whine a lot about their problems. Like seriously if you don't like the school, too bad. It annoys me to see that people are whining about going to their university. "oh i should've got into Harvard or Cornell" "why couldn't i get into BLANK" Be happy with what you have goshh

Like I'm sure you took thousands of peoples spot and now you ungrateful. Like i wanna go to the college your sitting at and now your whining about your life. I really want to beat the crap outta these people such ungrateful little punks..... I'm sure you took my spot in freshmen year too.

I feel like it’s like that at any school, really. I know a girl who goes to Penn (UPenn), and she is constantly sad how she didn’t get into Yale or something. I’m just thinking, “Girl, you’re at a great school studying Business!”

there are going to be people who ***** and moan no matter their location. I guarantee that there are kids at CSUs whining about not getting into UCSC, or whatever else.

And I don’t think there are a lot of UC students who whine about their lot. You’re blowing it up.

yeah I dunno what’s gonna happen if I get accepted to Davis or San Diego lol probably scream/ dance for an hour straight. good luck hope you get in!

who cares? They just went to a school as a freshman. Do you think you are more informed entering as a junior as how the world works and what school really means?

Guess what, you saved money and can still get into a good school. Let it go.

Hey dude all I am saying is I would be extremely satisfied if I was going there. If they are so fed up they are free to leave…
Plus most of the people I encountered were pretty negative about the school they were going too

They obviously not satisfied with the school they chose. I know how it works dude… but i feel they are wasting a perfectly good chance for someone who would have happily gone. Why be upset with what you CONSCIOUSLY chose.

“im not surprised the typical users who leave negative comments are coming to leave more.”

hmmm…if they leave negative comments on posts…and there are new posts…they.will. ------>

Leave negative comments on NEW posts. gasp That’s called L-o-g-i-c

To keep this post relevant to the original topic… maybe they are “complaining” because they are not academically ready nor ready for the rigor of such institutions. So they gripe.

At least I don’t blow a top just because someone spells the letters USC in a UC forum post.

Frankly, those people have every right to complain or whine. After all, they earned their way into those schools. It’s not like they were given a free ticket to the universities. They made the effort to get accepted. They can do and feel whatever they want once they are there and there isn’t a thing anyone could do about it. If you didn’t make it into those schools in the first place while others did, well whose fault is that?

What does USC have anything to do with this?

And karmago who are you to judge people on whether they got in or not obviously you don’t know their whole back storyy so just calm down. It’s not anyone’s fault they didn’t get in if their sick. and for your information i maintained a good gpa in high school even though i was in and out off the hospital throughout my years at my high school. So now it’s my fault i was born with abnormality right…

There are people who legitimately try to get into good schools, and circumstances cause them not to be able to get in. If these people are whining about going to great school don’t you think it will make some people who want to go there little upset? have a heart dude.

Well I’m sorry I didn’t know about your whole back story your majesty, but it’s not like you’re the only one with problems in the world.

You’re right. Fault is hardly the choice word in this matter. Everyone faces their own difficulties be it financial or family or health. And I’m sure far too many deserving people didn’t make it into where they wanted to go based on those detrimental factors. However the reality lies with the the results determined by the college admission and the results were that you didn’t get in. I didn’t get in either years ago for reasons I won’t explain on here.

But I’m sure as hell not complaining about whiners who “took my spot”. They got in and it’s as simple as that. You’ve got nothing on them and what they think and you’re only creating a scene on here that’s never going to substantially change anything anywhere.

Instead, you should be very grateful to be fortunate enough where you will be able to transfer to a UC. There are so many people who would give an arm and a leg to be in your position to achieve higher learning but can’t. Seriously, be glad that you can get into a university and stop wasting your efforts trying to denounce the ungrateful few. They’re not worth it.

That’s the thing deserving people didn’t get in all because of these ungrateful few. I’m not trying to justify why I didn’t get in. I frankly don’t give a damn if someone took my spot because im sure 3000+ threw the opportunity of going there away in the first place.

why complain if you chose your own path? No one is forcing you into it.
