I have 4 semesters of High School left; can I get through trigonometry?

Hi there! This is my first time posting on this forum & I’d really love some advice. I want to get into Patrick Henry College in the spring semester of 2019. They recommend that High School students get through at least trigonometry, although their bare minimum requirement is Algebra I, II, and Geometry. I am a home-schooled junior going into my second semester. I am currently halfway through my algebra I book & I expect to be finished by the middle of my second semester. I am an A student in math & I’m told that I have an aptitude for it, however I’m aware that for a junior I am behind on the concepts. I really want to get through trigonometry to increase my chances of getting into this college. Including the coming summer semester, I technically have 4 semesters of high school left. However, due to my age, I will not be attending college until spring of 2019, which leaves me with 2 semesters that I am technically out of high school that I can still utilize. Do you think it would be possible for me to get through trigonometry? What would I have to do in order to accomplish this? Any responses and ideas are sincerely appreciated  God bless!

What books are you using? How many hours per week do you have to spend on math?

idk much about us highschool system, but its HIGHSCHOOL , its not calculus, its trigonometry just work harder than before. should not be a big deal… trigonometry alone isn’t that hard

Trig is a half year course for us, so easiy taken in the summer or online or simultaneously with Algebra II.

My algebra 2 class and pre clac have trig in them so it can definitely be paired with another math class if you need it to I suppose.

Okay, I know I’m late to the thread but I’m new here

My message cut off for some reason…Well as I meant to say I’m late to the thread but I’d like to say I think you can manage it! Just be up for the commitment. I myself have done Algebra 1 and I am finishing up Geometry. I plan to do Algebra 2 over the summer and from there do Trigonometry and possibly Precalculus in my junior year (the only reason I haven’t already completed Algebra 2 being that I went ahead a grade making things complicated). This all leaves room for calculus in my senior year. So just be up for the work and I think you can do it!
