Its been a real hectic season for all of us. But now the applications and all is over so I was wondering why dont we share our experiences applying for the fun part of course

I was thinking like what were the areas in the whole application process boggling us the most. When I look down to the last year or two of my applications I can say for sure several big troubling ones exist. So wondering what about others

** So lets confess.**

Lets just list down the areas that troubled us most or questions that got us tangled or things we wish we knew before.

This i have been waiting for....well there isnt any end to the list of my complaints...

well for a start I always was and still am confused over the Certification of Finances...I mean damnit tell me whether they have to be sent to show the availability of funds for I-20 i.e. after aid is recieved (so that finaid is included in the forms) or are they just to be sent to show how much one can pay..Still beats me..

yeah SAT I is truly crappy....so nobody else had any problems in the app process..comeon people u r making me look like a whining baby coz i had lots of complaints.

everything related to financial aid!!! it was such a horrible job getting everything done...

The application stuff: the teacher reccs!! my teacher knew nothing about the admission process and I had to guide them through the whole process!!! One of my teacher wrote one sentence and then gave it back to me!!

And now my biggest worry is to get all my apps complete at all my colleges... at this point just 6 out of 14 has confirmed that my application is complete

Yeah, somehow with a year's hard work, I improved by 100 points to a 650. I'm never looking at the SAT again. Fortunately they usually had math sections in between verbal sections - so I used to chill out during math. Used it as a stressbuster. I definitely cant imagine doing 1.5 hrs of verbal at a stretch. I wouldnt survive

I hate spending my parents' money on a silly dream of mine which I probably won't come true. Other than that, I hate doing the essays. I'm actually a very good writer, but open-ended essays kill me. Everything I write, I think someone else has already said it. I prefer essays on specific topics for some reason. The SAT's are horrible too. TOEFL is not difficult, just annoying.

yeah TOEFL is a ridiculuous thing...I think everyone should try to get a waiver of that...
and the score reporting also costs like $17.yeaaarrrgh

I dont hate one particular part, i just hate the stress and worries and time the application process cost! While all my friends are having a fun senior year, i'm busier than ever! My entire senior year has been taken up by it.........

but if i get in it it will have been worth it!!!
