Well, I'm currently a senior in college and I am usually diligent with my studies, but this semester on this particular course I just didn't listen to the lessons and became lazy to study. Anyways, midterm exam is the day after tomorrow, and I'm really not confident on my overall grasp of the coverage yet, worse, the midterms will count as half of my grade. Here comes the tough decision to make: I could skip the midterms all throughout as per class policy, and just take the finals two months from now, which will cover a different set of lessons, and let my finals grade count twice (in other words, my grade in the finals will be my grade in my missed midterms, if ever). My worry is, what if the finals is harder than midterms? The benefit though is I will have two more months to study and concentrate for that, and listen to the lessons, and let the pressure of it counting as my whole grade motivate me to study and all that. Or, i could just study now and tomorrow, take the midterms, though I don't think I will do it at my best because as I said I really didn't listen too much during the lessons and I only have a day left to study. So, if you were in my position, what would you do? Take midterms or not?

You haven’t studied up until this point…what will make you think you will study more the rest of the semester?
I would start studying now and tomorrow!
