<p>I am applying for the Fall term of 2011 at USC and i have completed the application except for my essay.</p>
<p>The prompt states "Write an essay about an event or experience that has helped you learn what is important to you and why."</p>
<p>I'm planning to write about how getting ahead in life is the most important thing to me, but i am having quite a lot of trouble formulating a way to begin the essay.</p>
<p>Also am I supposed to write it in letter format?</p>
<p>Any ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?
