I have automatic admission, so should I even stress myself?

Im top 10% of my class so i have automatic admission to any public school in texas. I already have schools in mind. So should i still challenge myself this year? im a senior btw. i dont see the point. i already worked my butt off last year and the years before. should i even worry?

pretty sure you answered your own question.

@APsooof‌ yeah I was just worried cause I know colleges like rigorous courses yet I don’t think it would matter in my case

Maybe for self pride and accomplishment. 8-}

Make sure you have the credential for the major/program you want. Although you are auto-admitted, it may still be competitive in some way. For in stance, top 7% in Texas will get into UT Austin, but not everyone can get into engineering. If you know which school you want to go and you are sure you will be admitted, you should think beyond the admission.

Yes keep trying…some colleges can take back scjolarships if your grades are significantly lower or rank and stuff

Youre lucky. If i was in your possition i wouldnt be doing anything. Just relax.

College is not a ‘goal,’ but rather a tool to be used towards living a fulfilling life. If you tend to live life in a series of sprints and rests, then listen to yourself, and take a rest. If you tend to plan to leverage every opportunity so that when it arrives, you can leverage every bit of it, then use this time to better position yourself for additional scholarships (for the prestige and access to scholarship-only resources, if nothing else) and to prepare yourself to exploit every bit of the college experience that you can. It is totally up to you and your temperament.
