what should i do to prepare?
i'm worried that if i overthink things, I'll end up getting nervous and forgetting everything i planned to say, while additionally being so anxious that i am unable to come up with anything else. you know what i mean?
but generally, what should i prepare/know in advance? i know there's a thread for interviews but i don't have time to read dozens of pages of queries etc.
the interview, if it helps, is with an alumnus from a top 20 school that im applying to, and we're meeting @ Starbucks.

The thread has fantastic advise and is worth a perusal–you don’t have to read every post. Its purpose is so that this question does not have to be answered multiple times.

There are some great threads here.

Make sure you are at the right Starbucks.
Take a resume, but don’t assume the interviewer wants it.
Don’t obsess about dress; just one step up from completely casual should do.
Prepare for the obvious questions: Why <college>" What major? What are your favorite ECs? What other schools are you applying to?</college>

Have some Qs about the school. Spend some time on their website. Don’t ask super enry level Qs that you could figure out from the web–go one level more detailed/specific.

Be relaxed. The interview is largely to show that you are not a complete dweeb, so don’t be one.
