I have no Hope guys

Hi every one

this is my first thread on this website

my situation is different to every one

I passed O levels

and came to do AS levels

but the School refused to do so???? saying I will not coup with the level of AS

because I choose all core subjects and plus done a subject call combined science(all three sciences es together)

which blocked my future plan really

but after a lot of discussion with them because i got a B I was accepted to do ONLY IT(information technology) as AS level

and I passed that with a grad C.

through my search over the colleges the minimum requirements is 2 AS subject

And to be honest I don't know what to do

1) go back to school and do one extra subject
2) find a college the accept me ( my Major Subject is IT)
if so i would kindly like a list of colleges.

I have no hope except Asking you guys fro Advice because i am lost in a world of no one

BEST REGARDS

Thomas

My advice to you is to go back to school for a year and work your ass off. It’s either that, or apply to community college.

thank a lot bro I will try my best

tell me about the community college

could you give me a list of them

or an idea of how much it will cost

and where i can find them

thanks alot for your visit

Are you out of the US? Community Colleges are pretty much in every city. Usually 20-40 dollars per unit.

Uhmm, you’re asking for advice on how to handle your British education (or some model designed after the British model) on an American forum. Probably not a good idea, as very few of us have any idea how the British system works. I know that you have A-levels, but if it’s similar to the German system (which I’m vaguely familiar with, thanks to a German teacher), the only way you can get into a uni is to go back and pass the entrance exams (your A-levels). Otherwise, you can look into trade schools. But, unless someone on this forum has an intimate knowledge about the British schooling system (many may understand a bit about Britain’s very top students, and Oxford and Cambridge, but like me know very little about Britain’s more average unis), you’re better off looking elsewhere for advice.

You might post this question on the International Student forum
