Please be very candid.
ACT=29 (1st time, will retake this fall)
GPA=4.15 out of 4.0
taking most rigorous classes available. 10 ap classes by the end of 12th.
I got mostly 4 and 5 on the AP tests
None of my parents went to college (mom dropped out of high school)
parents divorced and troublesome teen life.

ACTIVITES
NHS, Amnesty international, tutor children, volunteer at a hospital, leader of a class throughout 11th grade, played cello since 4th grade, math team member.

Your ACt is a bit low, but the GPA will help make up for it. Your activites are a bit bland. Do you hold any leadership positions?? How well do you play the cello? You should list awards too.

very well, i think i'll send in one of those supplement things
i am also an ap scholar with distinction

numerous volunteer awards, but other than that, nothing too special

so what do you think my chances are?

do you plan on doing ED?

i think i'll stick to rd, and when i retake the act, i'm hoping for a 30-32. with the stats i already have, and a 30-32, will that be good enough?

God do you really need people to tell you you have a solid chance?

was is that supposed to mean? good or terribly bad?

good. it's just that everyone who comes on here seems to know their chances already but wants to hear it from alot of other people who have some idea but actually have not that much of an idea of what your chances are. Nobody believes guidebooks. but they're right for the most part. I swear someone shouild just post the "average stats to get you into cornell" at the top of this forum and then nobody would have to ask haha. (that rant was NOT directed at you, just so you know haha it was more to the world as a whole)
