My best SAT score so far is: 800 CR, 740 Math, 790 Writing.
My SAT II Scores are: 770 Biology, 730 Math 2 (oy), 740 Literature.

Since the January date is the last date that most of the colleges to which I am applying accept, do you think I should take SAT Reasoning again and go for a 2400 or should I improve my SAT II scores?

Well, I studied for Biology E pretty passively, tried to cram on the day before the test, and ended up getting 770, so I think if I just studied more for that I could do better.

I don’t know if I could do much better on Literature. I guess it would depend on how lucky I get with the passages.

Math 2 was a nightmare when I took it. I would have to take Math 1 if I retook a Math SAT II test, or study like crazy, which I probably wouldn’t do.

I really think I could do better on the math section of SAT Reasoning. I felt very confident about it, but ended up missing two medium-difficulty questions and got a 740. I think I could improve.

I might be able to get Writing up to an 800, but I doubt I would.

Now I feel like I’m answering my own question. But do colleges place more weight on the SAT Reasoning test? That’s why I was asking here, I thought maybe someone knew if colleges tend to consider one test more heavily than the other.

Also: Colleges: Duke, Northwestern, Chicago, UFlorida, UMiami, UPenn, Columbia
The last two have turned into lolapplications for me. I really don’t know why I am still applying to them. I am like 98% positive I won’t get into either.

Generally, more weight is placed on the Reasoning test. But all your scores are good, so it’s up to you. I would, though, go with the Subject Tests because Math Level 2 and Literature could look a little better.
