Hi All.I just logged on to this site for the first time.I am 35 years old and have an associates degree from a community college.I have been out of school for a while due to disbaility.Im still loking at schools for a bachelors degree, but every time that I take the college searches,it comes up with a plethera of choices for a 4year school and I dont know how to narrow down the choices. If anyone has any ideas on how to find more effective criteria and factors, that would be appreciated.Thanks.
How much can you afford?
Are you willing to move?
What is your home state?
What is your CC GPA?
What is your intended major? Intended career?
Gut reaction - small private college vs large public?
Give us some of this info and maybe we can help you narrow it down from there.
Hi,
Have you thought of on-line for a Bachelors this way you can do it at your own pace, not worrying to get to a campus for a certain time…we have AWESOME programs and we can look at your associates to see what credits can transfer…so many areas to choose from…[Accredited</a> Online College Degrees - Rasmussen College](<a href=“http://www.rasmussen.edu%5DAccredited”>http://www.rasmussen.edu). We also have an excellent scholarship program for bachelor students, $10,000…it’s also on our site. Let me know how I can help you get your degree, I’m here for you!

Don’t bother with online schools, not if you are hoping to have a job eventually.
When I was ready to transfer I made a mental list of the things I liked about my CC and the thinks I didn’t. Then I used those things to come up with some criteria for my searches. It worked reasonably well, although I must admit I don’t love where I am right now. But that is not because my criteria were off, it’s because the school oversold certain aspects that were really important to me.
