I've got a lot going against me!

So...I am about to start my last semester at community college. I will have earned my associates in arts degree by the summer, and I am looking to start at a new school by the fall. I am hopeful that I can find a scholarship, but looking on my own has lead me to a bunch of dead ends. Does anyone know of an agency or company that specializes in finding scholarships for nontraditional students? I say non traditional because I work full time and go to school part time, I want to transfer to a private four year school, and I don't meet a lot of the qualifications for being active in school life since my courses are all done online.

I hate to tell you this but working full-time and going to school part-time IS traditional. That is how most people do it. Student that go away to school at a 4 year university are a minority.

I knew of no reputable company that does what you are looking for. Scholarships for transfer students are very very rare and are reserved for the top student applying based on stats.

Is there a state school you can commute too?

Pay a visit to the Transfer Advisor at your own community college. That person should have good ideas for you. Usually they are very savvy about finding money for their graduates.
