For the cumulative GPA section, my school does UNWEIGHTED GPA OUT OF A 4.33 SCALE. On the CommonApp, the scale goes 4, 5, 10, etc. IT doesn't have the scale my school does. What should I do?

I was published for my research project last summer. I got a certificate for the publication. Does this qualify as a "honor? And if so, what should i mark for the "school, state/regional/national/international" section?

If my school has only one meeting (about 2 hours) per week for each club that I participate, will that hurt me?
The reason the number of hours is low is that the teachers cannot afford to stay longer or have more meetings during the week since they're so busy w/ everything else.
I do spend on the EC's at home as well, so can I add those number of hours to the meeting per week for the "number of hours/wk" part?

I know that i can attach a resume to give justice to my activities. Can I upload this resume somewhere on the commonapp?

Also, for activities such as camp counseling, taking college courses over the summer, etc. I don’t feel like putting these in the activities section because they’re temporary things in that there is no year long committment. Instead, can i just add these to the resume?

Not sure about everything, but at my school at least, most clubs only meet once a week. I think that’s pretty standard for a school club. If you devote genuine time to it outside of school, I’d add the hours!

Also, I’d definitely add being a camp counselor. They want to see that you’re making good use of your time over the summer, rather than staying home and sleeping in, and getting a job is definitely impressive.

For the activities section, I feel that everything i do is because of my passion for those activities. I feel like putting them in order gives the activities injustice. The three activities im heavily involved in are research, the academic team, and debate (this is the order i put them on the commonapp). If I want to do my short answer on Debate, however, do you think colleges would get suspicious because that’s the activity i listed as the third in order? Should i do my short answer on research just because i put research in the first slot?
I don’t want to give the impression to colleges that i am being inconsistent.

And secondly, My school does block scheduling, in which i have four classes first semester, which runs from sept-Jan, and then i have 5 new classes second semester from january to june. On the commonapp, however, there’s a place for “First Semester/Trimester Second Semester/Trimester Third Trimester”

You can upload the resume to the “additional information” section on the writing tab of the Common App. And no, I don’t think anyone would see it wrong to write about your number 3 activity. (I’m a debater too!) And thirdly, I think many admissions officers expect club meetings to be around 1-2 hours. What matters is that you’ve stuck with it through high school. I think the longevity of your participation is just as important as your intensity in it.

You could put it for an honor, but I think since it was a research project, I’d probably put it under activities. If you do put under honors, for school/state/etc, look at who or what group awarded the certificate.
