I have two questions about college apps...

My First Question: So I applied to two colleges early action, and I wrote on the Honors part that I earned a love for Science award. Although I am in the New York State Science Honor society, should I contact the universities to let them know somehow that I actually didn't receive that award? There was HUGE miscommunication with my Bio teacher the year I was suppose to get the award. He probably does not even remember anymore haha.

My Second Question: I submitted my two applications EA and then realized I had to make very minor changes to my common App. Will the EA colleges know that I made those minor changes to my application?

please help me out here i would just like to know what to do in this situation…i dont want a college to think im lying

1) It doesn’t make sense. You put something incorrect on a recent application about something that happened in the past when you knew your didn’t get that award? Whatever, it does sound like a minor item on your resume. But still you maybe should err on the side of writing a short email to say that the award wasn’t given after all and can they please disregard that item.

2) The EA schools just get what you sent them by deadline. They won’t know about changes.
