<p>Will checking off that box hurt your chances, even if the school claims to be need blind?
I've heard that by checking that box, the school will be able to see which other colleges you've applied to through the financial aid system.</p>

<p>I'm intending to apply to MIT, Harvard, Penn, Columbia, and Princeton more to see if I'll get in rather than actually intending to go there.</p>

<p>My family would most likely not qualify for any need based financial aid anyway.</p>

<p>Will not checking it help my chances?</p>
