I just checked my financial aid and it said the Cal Grant has been canceled. Why?!!

<p>However, I remember in the beginning of the fall quarter I only got almost 16k for Gift Aid. Now, I have more. It's $17,185 for gift aid. I'm confused..if the Cal Grant is canceled shouldn't my gift aid be lower?? Can someone please explain this to me?</p>

<p>I’m thinking it’s because some fees went up for winter and spring quarter, although from what I saw on schedule of classes and GROWL current activity, total costs each quarter is now about 6500 dollars (tuition+room and board)</p>
