Hi everyone, i am 37 weeks pregnant and because of that i decided to take a bunch of classes during the summer so that i won't have such a big load during the fall semester when my baby is due to be born. One of those summer classes was bio 2 and it was taught by 2 professors, thee first guy i had i got a B on his portion and the second guy was terrible! He was always in a hurry to leave and his exams were nothing like the notes, he uses exams that he gave 8 years ago that are completely different. I had a hard time in his class but tried so hard, i wrote a great lab report and did good on his one exam but no so well on the lab or the other exam and i have talking to him about my grade since the beggining of the summer semester and he kept assuring me that i will pass his class and that he will discuss my situation with the other professor and that i will be fine. Well, yesterday i got my grade and its a D, a D in my program is the same thing as an F and i would have to retake the class again. The problem is by having to take this class in the fall which my last semester at my university before the internship, it is going to completely screw my plans. Instead of having class from 8-2 on monday, it looks like i will be there from 8-7 because of bio lecture and lab and its not going to work with me since i cannot leave my newborn baby for that long. I was told to email the other professor because i doubt the the other professor ever talked to him about my situation like he claimed, i did email him but he never responded and i don't know what to do. People that had As in the first professors portion got C in the second professors portion, he was very lazy and did not want to give us anything like extra credit or homework so he doesnt have to grade them. What should i do? should i go to campus and see the first professor or should i just let go :( i honestly can say i put so much time and effort into the class and asked so much questions and went to his office hours but his exams were impossible!

you could try taking it online.

You’re planning to take college classes while recovering from childbirth and caring for a newborn? This is a recipe for disaster. You have no idea how much time and energy a newborn requires. I suggest you delay the start of school for a semester, bond with your baby and re-take that Bio class in the spring. Life isn’t a race.

Take off fall semester while you have your baby and resolve this grade dispute.

I would take a semester off or try to do all online classes. Online classes are great and that way you can still bond with your baby and not be so stressed. I’ve taken a lot of online classes and they allow you to work with a flexible schedule.
