I just finished my sophomore year in college

and I could not be happier. I am doing great and I am halfway done.

Any questions boys ?

Congratulations! Getting to the midpoint happily and successfully is great. Keep it up.

Any advice for the youngsters?

Thank you !

From my experience, here are some advice/facts:

School:

  • it does not get easier as you move forward. So make sure you get a GPA as high as you can freshman year.
  • You will have to go through some stupid requirements, but if you can make friends, those requirements are going to be less painful.

Social Life:

  • Do not be scared to talk to people in your dorm they probably are looking for friends just like you.
  • Nobody cares about your little dramas so keep those in high school.

Clubs/Involvements:

  • I would suggest to not get involve in too many clubs (no more than one in the first place) because since you are going to be bray new you will certainly have other concerns.

Food/Health:

  • If you are not used to exercise, you’d better start this summer because freshman 15 is not a legend.

Roommate(probably one of the most important parts):

  • Talk to each others about your habits AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ! This can avoid a lot of issues !
  • It is pretty unlikely that your roommate is going to be “your best friend on campus”
  • You might not get along with your roommate so if there is a problem, talk it out before it becomes awkwardly quiet when you get in the room.

I probably forget some, but I think those are the main advice I can give to the next generation.
