I just got my housing offer! A couple questions...

lol that is true, when you are walking back from class.. you have to climb bruinwalk hill, up hill to the hill that leads to rieber buildings, then another hill to hedrick... its like a extra 10 min walk...

unless you manage to make a panting rhythm that is a mean of communication, then dont think about talking uphill.

oh man, ok not trying to rub it in people's faces, but i got a plaza. All 3 of my preferences were Residence Hall!!!!! I saw it a couple of posts where someone got a hall when they requested plaza..

Anyways anyone else Triple De Neve Plaza???

Btw, it didn't indicate whether it's shared bath or private bath..

Read the housing thread, for the love of god, READ the housing thread.

de neve = private bath (so bathroom just for you and your 2 roommates)

Agreed.

De Neve Plaza is suppose to be nice. Opened in 2002.

FireEmblem: Thanks for the response. To make sure I understand the process correctly: do you specifically get to request your desired room choice (Hall), and if your request is rejected, you keep your original assignment? Sounds like it doesn't hurt to try, correct?

Ok. so... how big are the sproul residence hall rooms?

youre with me calitennisgirl55
^_^
cant wait to meet you

i heard sproul is bigger than dykstra rooms, but they been renovating for the past two years so no one really seen the inside yet, but sproul's location is the best, in the middle of everything :)

My question kinda got lost...if someone knows, can you answer?

Also, about sunset: do most freshmen room together? Someone on facebook was saying that there are lots of 2nd/3rd years in sunset village, so does this mean the odds of you rooming with an upperclassman are significant?

Also, how many freshmen in sunset get private baths?

thanks :)

i'm a freshman and i got a private bath... if that helps

well, i don't really know that but the price matches up =D

whoa looks like ill by seeing calitennisgirl wilbeezy and duckedtape at sproul next year!!!

deutsch,

i also got a triple in de neve plaza, and they're all private bath, even though i requested a triple plaza shared.

they try to put freshmen with other freshmen. rarely will you get paired with a sophomore/junior (but it does happen).

Are there a lot of upper classmen in Sproul? Or is it just mainly freshmen? Also, how many people are in themed housing there, compared to the rest of the residents?

^ I'm a freshman and I have a triple in Sproul. I wonder how nice it is going to be... relative to other halls

go sproulers!!

i know that on my floor (7th, the highest on top) there are a lot of upper classmen because people want the view and the new hall but I think lower levels are quite open for freshmens... azngamer54, it is going to be better than the other halls because it is newly renovated...

Yeah i ended up getting my fourth choice.

I wanted double residence hall, then triple hall, then double plaza, then triple plaza but i ended up getting triple plaza at deneve. i really wanted a hall. is de neve really nice? i didn't visit it. sorry if this has already been asked.

is it really hard to meet people if you're in a plaza?
