I just got suspened. Do I have to tell colleges?

I was suspened this week from school for putting up poster insulting one of my teachers. I've already submitted my college applications and there is not mention of this on my mid-year reports. Am I obliged to inform colleges of this fact?

I don't know what your HS requires but where I went the guidance counselor was required to have us report.........we had to write a letter to each college. How long was the suspension? What did the HS tell you was policy?

ooh thats gotta hurt,

At my school, the subject came up and my GC said "only put it down on your app if its a moral issue to you..because I only put down positive things in all of your recommendations" - so at my school, if you got suspended or anything...its not even mentioned. I say don't mention it, because your recommendations are already written up (they won't change now at this point) and it isnt mentioned anywhere else. You're fine. If you're close w/ your GC check with her just in case, but I doubt its necessary.

I got suspended like 6 times in high school, colleges don't have to hear about disciplinary action unless you get expelled. What they don't know won't hurt em.

ahahaha, wat a g.

At my son's school it would appear on the transcript.

dude don't bother to tell them. It wasn't like you really hurt anyone and I hope whatever the insulting message was wasn't too bad.
