I applied early decision to Columbia and they recently called me saying they wanted to interview me. I had the interview yesterday and I felt it went really well. Me and the interviewer really connected. I made her laugh a few times she made me laugh and I gave her very thorough and thought out answers to her questions. Does having a good interview give me a better chance of getting in? Did I get an interview because I was on the verge of getting in but they wanted to make sure I was a good fit for Columbia?

Everyone gets an interview unless there are logistical issues. Usually the are a small consideration. Good luck.

I agree with @BrownParent. A classmate of mine had hers today on our school campus. Seems the alum.interviewer was getting all of the ED applicants from our school done on the same day.
