There is so much going on right now during my senior year. I just want college admissions get done quickly!

There is so much going on right now during my senior year. I just want college admissions get done quickly!

I just want to know if I can slack off or not.

amen to seniorities

say if you get admitted ED, they cannot revoke your admissions can they? Since you have to withdraw all the other applications.

Even if I get in, I am not slacking off. I still need my 4.0. It will be a shame if I lose my GPA after working hard for the past three years.

collegebound, they still can revoke your admission, but they'd probably be more lenient

Are they starting to make decisions yet?

i like my 3.9 and its gonna be pretty hard for it to go down even if i slack off.....its just that if u get excepted early...everything just seems sooo much lighter

MIT is releasing theirs Dec. 9! 2 weeks left for that!!!! i'm so scared

yea I wanna know soon. so I can decide where else to apply :(

I want to know now. I can't wait. I'm slowly going crazy

I wish Penn had some form of online contact with applicants. MIT applicants have the MIT Blogs, as well as Michigan who also have blogs, where the adcom posts information (such as number of applicants that applied and reviewing process and how far they are at in the admissions process).

Is seems like Penn's website is outdated.

I agree, Wharton411. I wish the daily pennsylvanian would at least run the ED stats soon.

Not till monday AT LEAST. DP will closed for the holiday.

Yale - decrease 12%
Princeton - increase 2%
Penn - undefined

yeah, i their website definately needs to be updated. the design/layout reminds me of the dot-com era and some of the quotes on the right are from students who attended about a decade ago...

It's a lot better than Brown's website. and Dartmouth's website...

also I don't understand how MIT, home of some of the smartest students and faculty, especially when the name is Massachusetts Institute of Technology, cant design an aesthetically pleasing website.

I KNOW. i saw MIT's website and I was like... um?
But I think Brown's website is beautiful. The best are Stanford and Cornell.

When is it anyways?

To update Wharton411's post:

Number of Early Applicants 2006:

Yale - decrease 12%
Princeton - increase 2%
MIT - increase of over 10%
Penn - undefined
