you guys think they've made all the decisions??

I'm scaaaaared :(

The committee is not the well oiled machine we all perceive them to be! This year at least, MyPenn has been a disaster, and I've seen many cases in which they have lost documents from ED applicants. I'm pretty sure they will be working until a day or two before Friday. But who actually knows?!

LOST DOCUMENTS?
Um that wouldn't be to our disadvantage, right? Cus it would be their fault? Or would they just be like 'whatever' and move on.

I think they have to have made the nearly every decision by now. First, the financial aid decisions also have to be made and have to be available when the admit/defer/reject decisions are released. Second, all the Ivies (and some others) share their lists of ED applicants to make sure no one applied to more than one school, and Cornell and Brown's decisions come out Thursday the 11th. Thousands of letters have to be written. The information has to be uploaded to the PennPortal. I gotta believe they're done, or nearly done.

I just had an interview yesterday for Penn ED (I know REALLY late). The interviewer told me that Penn is really far behind this year due to the new system and they are just starting to place students into the three categories: defer, deny, accept. He also said that they would have time to evaluate my interview DAYS before the decision came out. I'm guessing that some decisions have been made, but definitely not all of them.

eee!! i certainly hope not!
my penn portal says i'm still missing my app fee waiver request and guidance recommendation!

Call them tomorrow? Maybe they have your guidance rec but were just too busy to update it

I would not worry that much. Their online system is so bad.

i would really worry about pennportal updates...i mean my extra rec was received nov 10th and it only showed up about 2 days ago.

about the lost documents, I have a friend that applied to yale EA this year. yale somehow lost all her applications and stuff, but she just had to resend them. the only drawbacks for her was that it was a stressful and messy ordeal, and that her interview was really late.

As long as they'll accept me, I don't care if they've made decisions yet or not XD
But yeah, good luck everyone!

I think they have. Though, all bio-dental applicants were given a new supplement on Dec 1st which they had to send in by Dec 5th.
