I just want out of Arkansas.

I've lived it a small town in Arkansas my whole life. I just want out and to go to a university. But I slacked all through high school and I regret it. I've made very average grades and have yet to take the ACT and my Junior year is winding down and the pressure is building. So if you could give me some university's out state that would accept me, I would greatly appreciate it. I am however willing to go to University of Arkansas if they'd even accept me.

My GPA is around a 2.7 or 2.8 unweighted and I'm going to at least going to try and make about a 24 or above on the ACT. Please tell me my chances and some possible schools out of state.

University of Alabama
University of Mississippi
University of Oklahoma
University of Kentucky
Louisville University

What about my chances for U of A?

Bump. Anyone please help.

You’re not the only one in this situation, I would presume. You can’t redo anything you’ve screwed up on in the past, so what you need to do is get to work and finish the school year with excellent grades. As for senior year, same thing. Don’t choose easy courses senior year, either. You need to show colleges that you’ve challenged yourself and were able to get good grades even in difficult courses.
