I just went on a campus tour

I just went on a campus tour and I just realized that I didn't fill out anything to signify that I actually went on a campus tour. Did I miss something and not fill out something or is there actually no information card or something to say that you went there?

I don't think you have to fill out anything for the tour.

Um...crap...good question. They must know ur there somehow...

I went on a campus tour on Monday! :)

Anyway, I highly doubt that you had to fill anything out saying that you went on it ;)

So who was your tour guide? Mine was Alex.... He was really good

I'd suggest you somehow let them know you visited and took the tour. Based on experience with a couple applicants, my sense is that Cornell is very interested in your level of interest in it and somehow takes into account for admission any of these "contacts" that show more than just an interest from afar. Maybe you could contact admissions with a follow-up question based on the tour or anything that permits them to make the connection.

There is no way to fill out a card at the tour reception area. The students working there tell everyone that there is no tracking of tours taken and that it does not matter for admission. There is a form if you go to an Information Session though.

I'm sure you could find a way to mention your visit in the "Why Cornell?" essay.

ooo ya there was a form at the informational session

I missed the information session, mainly because there wasn't one on Labor day :(

What did I miss?

Them explaining wat happens at the college ur applying to lol...there are 7 diff colleges so it matters where you would be

You should've taken the information session for your specific college. They make you to write down your info on a card.
