<p>so i didnt really do that well in my freshman and sophmore year, didnt take any honors or ap classes.</p>

<p>My Gpa: 3.05 UWGPA
3.07 WGPA</p>

<p>SAT SCORES: </p>

<p>1st time: 1630</p>

<p>reading: 660
math: 490
writing: 480</p>

<p>i took the sat again this month and am waiting for resulsts also taking again next month.</p>

<p>i just played laccrosse one year, but i worked for 2 years.</p>

<p>i know my grades and sat scores arent that good, but if you can chance me with matches reaches and a saftey school, it would be very nice.</p>

<p>i am apllying to UMBC, UM College park, Rutgers NW campus, Michigan state, Temple, and UCincannti.</p>

<p>my class rank was in the top half 154/318</p>

<p>For UCin, you’re toward the low end of a match. I’m not sure about the others.</p>

<p>I’m in about the same situation as you, but a bit worse with the GPA. I can’t give you much of a chance but you will definitely need to bring up those math/writing SAT’s for some of those schools.</p>

<p>You’re probably a bit low for UMBC from what I remember about their stats, but UMD and Rutgers should be fine - probably much better chances if you’re an in-stater for either of them.</p>

<p>Is there a particular reason for the low grades? how big is your upward trend?</p>

<p>Everlasting: College Park is much harder to get into than UMBC. I think you have the names switched.</p>

<p>i used to live in Maryland! where do you live and go to school? i lived right next to River Hill in Clarksville Maryland. I think University of Michigan is a very far reach but u of m baltimore is def a possibility. and yeah i’m also applying to UMCollegepark cause even though i moved my aunt lives in rockville so maybe in state. I think you may have a chance there if you work really hard on yoru essays and talk about your work and struggles in the essay about struggles and stuff. if yo udo that umbc shouldn’t be too much of a problem and cp could be a possiblilty.
