At Clark, you have the opportunity for a fifth year MBA, at no cost. that means 5 years and you’re done with an MBA under your belt! Clark seems to advocate for it’s graduates in the workplace. Maybe because of it’s size and the good student:teacher ratio. do some homework, get some names and make some calls or e-mails to them and ask about the program that you are considering. don’t say anything about a safety school, just tell them that you’ve been accepted and you’re thinking about a major in Business.

Congratulations to all the Clark class of 2017 accepted students ! Clark is a fine school with an exciting invested faculty, a supportive, diverse bright student body and averygood reputation !

Okeimiester. Do a little research and I think you will find Some very very positive things about Clark ! It is very supportive not far from Boston and will be flexible about internships with organizations you might be interested in working with. My son graduated from Clark 25 yrs ago and has been able to accomplish a very very good career in business (national sales director-even though he was a film studies/communications major at Clark. My grandson was just accepted at Babson and I would say that although Clark and Babson a very different, you can get a great education at Clark that would preparE you well for a career in business. Look at this as an opportunity and don’t forget to put yourself into the decision. By that I mean see which schools you might like, feel most comfortable with and best fits your needs. It is not always the most prestigious school which is the best school for any particular individual as witness the Dartmouth/Clark discussion above. Although U of Richmond may have a better rep in business you might find Clark a place that offers more educational/personal benefits when you look at the overall picture. Good luck and remember you will have good choices!

Accepted with 25K/year as an international student ! Life couldn’t be better right now !

Which scholarship is $25k a year? I thought they only offered up to $18, excluding LEEP. Or is this need-based?

I am an international student so I am not eligible for federal aid or any of that; from what I know, intl’ students have to prove they can finance at least 25000 dollars and then are eligible for a half tuition award.

lehcar4201, i don’t know how good the music department is specifically because i only took 1 class in it, but i played in the jazz combo every semester. The combo attracts the best musicians on campus. The kids it in have been playing for many years and have very good technical skills. The jazz programs seem to be pretty well funded because they paid for recording our combo two years in a row. I also know people who took lessons and were in the concert band. They seemed to be pretty happy.

Also, I don’t know if this matters much to you, but I’ve heard recently that the music scene at clark is changing a lot. There used to be a lot of bands on campus, but apparently now the big thing is dubstep, and I guess there are a lot of people making electronic music. I knew a few people who were into that, but it wasn’t as big as it is now.

Try to email Matt Malsky. He is a professor in the music department.
