There was a tumbler sale going on at my school, so I ordered one. As simple as that sounds, it was a University of Texas one, however, a few days after ordering it, I did more college research and decided I wanted to go to Texas A&M. I've been stressing out about it for a while, so I asked some people if it really made any difference what university's paraphernalia I owned, and naturally--as sane human beings--they said no.
But does it? I kind of don't want the tumbler anymore because it says UT, but the back of my mind keeps telling me that it doesn't matter.
What do you guys think?

Lol, colleges don’t stalk their applicants to see what stuff they buy. And even if they did they wouldn’t care about this.

Well, I didn’t mean what the college would think. Just as an observer in hindsight. Like, if I were to wear an A&M sweater while drinking from a UT cup, would you as an observer even care?

Probably not. But you could always just use the cup at different times from when you’re wearing the sweater.

I think you are thinking about this too much, and that’s from me, Miss Overanalyzer. Some people might joke about it, but nobody will seriously care. Chill. It’s fine.

Oh my gosh, you will not believe how many people call me that. It’s just something I tend to do. Thank you so much.

lord…

Nobody really cares honestly. It’s just stupid when stupid people where Harvard/Stanford sweatshirts etc.

I’ve worn clothes from many colleges I didn’t even apply to. It’s no big deal.
