I know this topic is dry, but do me a favor

I'm trying to get into a seven- or eight-year combined BA/ or BS/MD program (BA/MD prefered:))

Frankly, I'd like to know what my prospects are.

Here's my stats:

Student:

User Name: Jedi_LongOne
Gender: F
Location: Central Coast, California
College Class Year: 2010
High School: Private
Will apply for financial aid: Yes

Academics:

GPA - Unweighted: 4.00
GPA - Weighted: 4.60
Class Rank: top 5 students
Class Size: 1

Scores:

SAT I Math: 710
SAT I Critical Reading: 720
SAT I Writing: 750

Extracurriculars:

Significant Extracurriculars: Ballet for 12 years, have reached Level Six in the systemized Vagonova Syllabus.
Girl Scouts for nine years.
Singing for ten years.
Leadership positions: In Girl Scouts, I am an Ambassador, the highest rank a girl can acheive, and thus am responisble for hellping with the numerous younger girls in my council.
Volunteer/Service Work: I am currently working toward my Girl Scout Gold Award, the Girl Scout equivalent of an Eagle Scout Award. I have already earned my Bronze and Silver Awards, which required fifteen and thirty hours of
Honors and Awards: Same as above
College Summer programs: NSLC (National Student Leadership Conference) twice, in Medicine. I also attend the local community college part time.

Desired College Characteristics:

Location type: Urban, Small City
Size: Medium Small (2,500 - 5,000), Medium (5,000 - 10,000)

Area: East Coast, Midwest

everything seems good with ure stats and extra curriculars, cus u show dedication, leadership, and excellence
BUT (yes a but) make sure to take plenty of AP’s/honors and do well in those. Also, take some SATII’s, preferrably in one science and one nonscience
Finally, try getting some more experience in medicine. Try shadowing, research, or volunteering at a hospital (preferrably all)
doing that, id say you have a pretty good shot at most programs

I agree that you will probably get into at least a few programs with your stats, but maybe try to do some research and take satIIs. Most schools require chemistry and math II, and some schools like to see that you are also gifted in writing to see how well you communicate, so consider taking the literature SATII. In terms of your SAT1, your scores should get you into most schools. If you’re looking at the more prestigious programs such as Northwestern (and I think Brown requires this too), then you’d be safest with 750s across the board.

Good luck!
