I Love The Act

2210 vs 34
slightly higher?

Yeah I think 34 is a high, high 2200

2150 v. 33 ..not that far apart.

but 1390 v. 33 makes it look like a bigger jump

2000 vs. a 33

SAT sucks. No one in Arkansas takes it anyway.

I like ACT better.

1910 vs. 31

So happy!

2080 vs 33 (September, 1st and only time)

W00T ACT

1840 vs 32

If I scored a 1940 on the SAT, what do you guys thing my ACT range should be if i put in about 3 hard weeks of studying. Thanks guys for the good news, I took the SAT 2 and freaking hate it.

2210 v. 32

what exactly does it mean? that i'm better at....tricks or something, and not necessarily rote recall??

2060 vs. 33

good job everyone

1810 vs 32

obv i love the act more

2020 sat (2 tries and practice) vs. 33 act (once without even knowing the format)

i got a 1990 and then a 35

o.o

31 math vs 680 math
28 reading vs 530 reading
24 english vs 560 english
36 science saved me

i think 31 math is better than a 680 math. Percentile wise anyways. But they are about the same number wrong (i think like 5 wrong?)

Im glad the ACT math curve isnt as brutal as the sat

Well (31/36)x 800 is about a 690, so yes, around a 680. I know I left a couple blank (3 maybe?) and just bubbled them in at the end. I felt good with everything else I answered. I'm still waiting on my scores from the November SAT. I feel the Math went really well and I'm hoping I scored well into the 700's. I think when I got the 680 on math I answered 47 correct and 7 wrong. I was in the low 90th percentile with that score on the SAT but in the high 90th percentile with a score of 31 on the ACT.

The only thing that really deviated pretty far away was my reading score on the SAT and the ACT. I feel that the passages were more straight forward and easier to get into on the ACT's than it was on any of the dates I took the SAT. I also liked the fact that there was no vocab, although I think that is part of the writing score.

I dont think 7 wrong is a 680. 5 wrong is about a 680 most of the times. O well, all i can say is sat math makes act math look like a walk in the park

SAT composite: 1360 (out of 2400)
ACT: 35 first time, 36 second time

^^^^^^^^^^^

Never heard of that happening before (and I've taken both tests). Yes, there are differences between the tests.. but the differences are not enormous...
