Hi everyone. I’m really upset right now because I got an email from a college that I’m missing one document and I must submit it as soon as possible. The college is Binghamton University, and the document I’m missing is original fee waiver. Actually there’s nothing I can do with that because it has to be done by my counselor teacher. I’ve noticed that I’m missing it and told him that he has to do it for me last week. He seemed to forget about it until I told him. I believed that he would do it soon, but today I got an email that they didn’t get it. I don’t know why he doesn’t care about it that much. I wanted to talk about it with him today but he was absent because he is sick. I have no idea when he gets better and comes back. I’m really worried that I might fail because it’s too late to hand it in or something. I heard some people have already gotten into Binghamton and I didn’t even complete application so it makes me upset even more.
Can the possibility to get into Binghamton fall down if I hand the document in late? Binghamton is my best school and if I fail because of material missing, I do not know what I’m going to do …lol
Can anyone please help me???
Colleges give more leeway to documents coming from the High School. If your GC isn’t back soon then talk to another GC. Someone should be assigned his work while he is out.
Has the deadline passed?
Speak with someone else in your guidance dept. for help and direction if he is absent again.
@“Erin’s Dad” I hope it does not affect the admission…
I made an appointment for tomorrow but I would talk to someone else if he is absent tomorrow.
Thank you for your answer.
@mamaedefamilia On the website of Binghamton, it says that materials like scores and transcript have to be submitted by December 1st. My test scores and transcript have been sent by that deadline, but I am not sure if the deadline includes the original fee waiver. I could not find any deadline for original fee waiver.
@pkchamp89 I would definitely talk to someone else if he miss one more day…
Thank you for your answer.
