I made a huge mistake. Is there anyway to fix it?

I posted my admissions essay on here for constructive criticism, opinions, anything and I didn’t think about plagiarism. Now when I type in a sentence from my essay it shows up on my post?!?! Will college plagiarism software identify this as plagiarism even though I posted it? I believe it will :frowning: Is there anyway I can resolve this I messaged a moderator, still no reply. I am a poor writer and this essay took forever what can I do

You might be able to PM a moderator and ask them to take down the thread. Try a few different users if you don’t get a reply.

If it is flagged is it permanently deleted heres the link popping up in google

awesome thank you however if I type in a sentence in google it shows up in the search results and when you click the link above it says that. also would you recommend I just contact admissions next week explaining the situation or is that a big red flag?

so it is taken down as the thread read “unavailable” but it still shows in google would the plagiarism bots mark me for the google result

I’m not the moderator who deleted the original thread, nor did I read the essay in question. I will tell you, though, that I have not read that many essays here that would be worth plagiarizing. Don’t worry about it, but now you know not to post your essays on the internet.
