I am nominated by my college into the All-USA academic team (for community colleges), and at first I thought it was the team 2004, but I just found out it is team 2005 …
But I wrote the year 2004 instead of 2005 in every application I have done …
My advisor told me it is a small mistake and just ignored it~
But don’t I have to be honest and admit that I have made a mistake?
I dont know if I should contact every school and tell them about it or simply ignore it … please help me out!

Well I kind of made a mistake like that but most counselors dont check and I wouldnt bother changing it. Its a small mistake dont worry, but if you are really worried i guess you could say something. If the decision deadline has passed then forget it.

I think a very short note or, preferably an email is appropriate. I am not familiar with the nomination, but a correction is in order. In general, nominations are not important, like lots of HS kids are nominated to things, but just actual achievements are important. But I don't know this one.

I want to add that I am accepted to Indiana and Wisconsin already, but I will still have to apply for their business schools.

Does it matter that much if I keep quiet? My advisor said if later they contacted you, I can just tell them. but I feel like I am "lying" to them right now~
